Billions of dollars in Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds go unspent every year. Bilt, the company known for offering points on rent payments, and Walgreens have partnered to address this issue by making your FSA or HSA (Health Savings Account) funds easier to access. Through this partnership, you can use your FSA or HSA funds to offset eligible purchases through the Bilt app when you use any card linked to Bilt Rewards.
You can also now earn Bilt Points at Walgreens (including prescription refills), and you don't need a Bilt Mastercard® to benefit from this partnership. You earn the bonus points when you use a credit or debit card linked to your Bilt Rewards account.

Automatic FSA/HSA Savings program
With the Automatic Healthcare Savings program, you can now link your FSA or HSA to your Bilt account and simplify your reimbursements for eligible expenses. You'll need to enter the debit card information for your FSA or HSA to take advantage of this feature.
Once you've linked your healthcare spending account, you'll be able to easily get reimbursed for eligible purchases, regardless of the credit or debit card you use. Within 72 hours, Bilt will identify eligible items and you'll be able to apply your healthcare savings funds to the purchase with just a few taps. You should receive a credit to your original form of payment within three business days.

Bilt Walgreens benefits
With this partnership, Bilt members also receive special perks for shopping at Walgreens. Any credit card or debit card that you link to your Bilt Rewards account will earn:
- 2X Bilt Points on Walgreens-branded items
- 1X Bilt Points on all other eligible purchases at Walgreens
- 100 bonus points on prescription refills (subject to exclusions; activation required)
There are a handful of items that won't earn Bilt Points through this offer, including alcohol, dairy and tobacco products. To see the full exclusions list, refer to the terms of this partnership.
Through this partnership, you'll soon also be able to receive complimentary photo printing.
Cards to link to your Bilt account
You can only link Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards to your Bilt Rewards accounts. But that gives you plenty of options to stack rewards for Walgreens (and other) purchases.
In general, aim to use a card that earns at least 2X points, 2% cash back or cash rewards on every purchase, such as the Citi Double Cash® Card (earn 1% when you buy and 1% when you pay; see rates and fees) or Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card (see rates and fees). However, for drugstores, the Chase Freedom Unlimited® is even better. It earns4.5% cash back on drugstore purchases (on up to $20,000 spent in the first year). After your first year or $20,000 spent, it's 3% cash back. You earn this cash back as Chase Ultimate Rewards® points.
If you have a Chase credit card that enables point transfers, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, you can combine those points and then transfer the rewards you earned with the Freedom Unlimited to any of Chase's travel partners. This includes programs that overlap with Bilt's transfer options, such as World of Hyatt, United MileagePlus and Flying Blue (KLM and Air France).
